INDICATIONS: Treatment of Hypertension in patients who do not respond to monotherapy alone
CONTRA INDICATIONS: Patients w/ anuria or hypersensitivity to other sulfonamides. Pregnancy & lactation
PRECAUTIONS: Patients who are vol-depleted, w/ bilateral artery or renal artery stenosis & impaired hepatic function
SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, abdominal & back pain, edema, palpitations, cough, sinusitis, upper resp infection & skin rash
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Rifampicin, fluconazole, K-sparing diuretics, K supplements or salt substitutes, indomethacin
